First Night/German Debut

One year ago, I spoke no German, and had only been to Germany once in my teens. Last night, after 7 weeks of rehearsals, I made my German debut at the Staatstheater Kassel as Dorabella with a cast of fantastic colleagues in front of a thousand-strong audience (including my Mum). Afterwards we drank Sekt and ate pretzels and celebrated a leap of faith that has paid off.
